And last for today

Yes I had a bit of downime. I should be cleaning out the garage though. Oh well I am wiped from the week. I need a low key day. So here is a picture from yesterday of my babies sleeping and then one of Jack at the car wash. He really hates the car wash but the truck needed it sooooo bad. Tristen tried cheering him up and when that did not work he just joined him. Tomorrow we will post some soccer pics of my big boy.

To my friends with older kids, Please hold your kids tight. Lately we have heard so many terrible stories about babies but the bigger ones are in danger too. At the fair we could have lost Michal. I know that sounds scary but a predator had his hands on my sweet boy. He had one hand on his shoulder and one hand on his head. When he pulled Michal, Michal tugged at the stroller I was also holding and it made me turn around. Sterling did too. The guy took off. Later he was caught in Arizona on some very serious child molestation and child porn charges. By later I mean just 9 days later. He tried to hang himself in custody and died 2 days after that from complications. But just think how close we came to being another tragedy. Even when they are almost 8 you have to hold them tight.

My children are my life. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost one of them. Please be careful.

For those of you who wanted to see my new house

It has 4 bedrooms, a loft, 2 1/2 baths (or as Jack says 3 potties,) and 11 closets. Plus your standard kitchen, living room, dining room. It also has a neat covered patio and lots of nice porch space. Oh yeah a huge laundry room that doubles as a 1/2 bath...dunno about that one, but it seems to work. There are great windows and views to just die for. I love nights with a glass of iced tea (grammie notice I cheat and have an iced tea maker in my kitchen) on my front porch watching the stars.

Just funny

Ok in true Littlejohn form we had to have a moving blooper. The three cars he ran off the road would call this true redneck. You can move the boy into a nice house give him a job with a schedule and benefits and even dress him nice but he will always be a redneck......

BTW that is my new truck. Sometimes all I can do is shake my head and grab my camera.

I am sooooo tired

SO I got my keys today and just had to move some stuff in. You know make it feel like mine rather than an empty house. I moved 10 yes 10 loads today and carried box after box up a flight of stairs. SO my legs hurt, my arms hurt, my back hurts, and my head hurts. I am going to bed at 9:00 tonight so Good Night. PS stay tuned tomorrow for some pictures of our new house.

Also Mike (as he likes to be called, I am with Clint I just can't get used to it) has the coolest closet with this hidden path where he can go play.

Nighty night

Remembrence

I bet Michal could spell that word. I may have spelled it wrong. Sorry if I did.

Anyway, today is one of those days that in 30 years we will still remember where we were when we were attacked and so many innocent people lost their lives. My boys are home with me today. Both have stomache aches. Both are very minor, but today is a day I want them near me to hug and hold whenever I want or need. So many parents lost children in that day of tragedy. So today is a day when I will thank God for my family as I do every day but today especially. Today I will bow my head and thank god for my freedom and pray for the safety of all.

Wether I believe in the war is still up in the air but to all the service men and women and the citizens of the mighty USA that are over there serving our country in one way or another I say thank you for fighting to protect us. THANK YOU!!!!!

He scored now he is sick

Michal scored a goal at his soccer game this weekend. It was one of those moments when you just pray it will go in and guess what it did. He was so proud of himself. He shoud be he fought for that goal and earned the praise. His team won 2-1. It was a good day. But today he is home with a stomache bug. He seems fine just some yucky poops. I am happy to have hime with me today. He is playing with his sister.
Oh Yeah and Alexis tried some rice cereal on saturday. I think she liked it.

Finally a day of rest

Funny when you call a day of house cleaning and laundry a day of rest. I have spent so much time running to town this week that to me today is a day of rest. So I had some playtime with the baby this morning and here is the result, a silly cat. Also she is 3 months as of yesterday. And yes the scrapbooker in me took pictures for her 3 month album page. :) BTW I have no idea why this cat was doing this. My best guess is she knew it was photo time by the flash and decided to strike a pose. The best part is she even put her hands up like the baby.

1st Day

He did it. He got the job. Today is the 1st day. So we got up at 5:00 AM and made lunch and he took his shower. We got him all ready with 20 minutes till he has to leave I told him I forgot to make iced tea and is water OK. To this he answered with the sweetest puppy dog look on his face, "Isn't there still time this morning." Of corse I jumped right up and made him some iced tea for the day. The smile I got when he walked out the door this morning with his iced tea in hand was the best start to my day. It is these simple things that make me realize I love him so. It is funny how life works. I think you find your place eventually. We just have to learn a few things first.

So I took the kids to school and in a while I will have to go back and supervise a load of hyper children again. Why oh why do I volunteer for such things. Oh yeah because I love my kids and I know I will get that same reaction this week as I got last week. I will by hugged and kissed by the two best boys in the whole world.

My favorite quote lately is "You are such a good mom!" I am a good mom. And I make good banana nut muffins. I am off to eat one. Have a great day.

It feels like Monday

The picture today is of my neice Karis. I sure miss my sister. Her baby is getting so big. This is Karis. She is 14 months old and giving her a run for her money. Isn't she cute.

It always feels like Monday on Tuesdays after a holiday. Well the kids are at school and daddy is out looking for a job so Alexis and I are here.

Yes you caught that right, dad decided he has had enough of towing and is going out to find a new job. A whole new career. Well he has one lined up for the most part he is just going to see if the can put him on now and when his truck gets in he can move over. This job includes health insurance, dental, vision, 401K, profit sharing, time off, and so much more. This is what they call a benefit package. That is something Sterling has never been offered and he is so exicted. So hopefully today he will come home with a new job. Oh but the best part is it includes a schedule with home nights and weekends and holidays off. Oh I forgot it has regular pay NO MORE COMMISSION. YEAH I absolutely HATE commission. I always say that is a strong word but in this case it is true.

Well I have a house to clean. But a BIG Happy Birthday to PAPA Jack today.

Quiet house

OMG It is so quiet. Alexis is sleeping, Michal is at Grandma Dee and Grandpa Scutt's, and Jackson is with daddy at Papa's working on froggy. I think I will just take me a little nap.

PS this is how we survived the doctors appointment the other day. Later I will add Tristen and his silly faces.
